US has provided bomb disposal and safety equipment to the Sindh police. An announcement said that Bryce Miles, Senior Representative of the US Consulate Karachi and Robert A Clark, Resident Programme Manager, Anti-Terrorism Assistance, US Embassy Islamabad provided bomb disposal and safety equipment to Sindh police on Thursday at a ceremony held at the Central Police Office here.

Fayyaz Ahmad Laghari, Inspector General of Sindh Police, received the equipment, which was sponsored by the US Embassy, worth approximately $50,000.
